"well..."

date: December 12, 2006

aight, lets get this laid out for those who just watched this. C & C games rock, 'nuff said, next. Westwood was one of the original game companies, back when game companies were people who don't have sex and create/market works of art for our enjoyment. EA took some kinda sick, wrong, backwards initiative and gave up on the classic game company motif, going for a more cruel, corperate aproach, they're stinkin' rich and artistic games no longer exist. C&C was bit the only game ruined by this, the ultima RPG series cannot continue because the rights are split between the original creators and EA. and most games from EA now are contracted crap and sports games. it's like satan sacked you then asked for money.

your reviews of each C&C game was truthful, but I request you add some more frames in there, it was hard to read word-for-word at times, and the reasons you provided for Generals ZH look pretty accurate, and (hopefully) unbiased, however your portrayal of C&C 3 is pretty bad considering the trailers, they keep the live actors going, which I like, and the storyline seems to harken back to the Tiberium dawn game, opposed to Sun's doom and gloom theme.

I like about 95% of your message and enjoy your animational capabilities, in short you rock almost all the time.

5'd for good measure

Author's Response:

I don´t give C&C 3 any chance ...

It´s just flashy shit with explosions and fake lights and a crappy engine and probably bugs that will shred everyone apart. The whole game looks lifeless.

The only funny thing could probably be the voice-over-ip in a strategy game... needs to be in WarCraft III...

"tiberium what?"

date: December 12, 2006

well, you did something no one else has done so far, you used Tiberium sprites. I play Tiberium sun and enjoy it greatly, and I request a Tiberium Sun movie from you. It'll be childsplay for one of your talent

parts of the movie were awesome, yet some parts were blatantly confusing, and loud. you did many things right and few things wrong. this is cool, yet the poke at the french was a bit unfair, give 'em a break they were the first victims of tank-based blitz in history.

you made me wanna play Tiberium Dawn again so I gotta go down to my second hand dollar store and snag a used copy. thanks for reminding us westwood rocks.

French war history:

- Gallic Wars
- Lost. In a war whose ending foreshadows the next 2000 years of French history, France is conquered by of all things, an Italian. [Or at ths time in history, a Roman -ed.]

- Hundred Years War
- Mostly lost, saved at last by female schizophrenic who inadvertently creates The First Rule of French Warfare; "France's armies are victorious only when not led by a Frenchman." Sainted.

- Italian Wars
- Lost. France becomes the first and only country to ever lose two wars when fighting Italians.

- Wars of Religion
- France goes 0-5-4 against the Huguenots

- Thirty Years War
- France is technically not a participant, but manages to get invaded anyway. Claims a tie on the basis that eventually the other participants started ignoring her.

- War of Revolution
- Tied. Frenchmen take to wearing red flowerpots as chapeaux.

- The Dutch War
- Tied

- War of the Augsburg League/King William's War/French and Indian War
- Lost, but claimed as a tie. Three ties in a row induces deluded Frogophiles the world over to label the period as the height of French military power.

- War of the Spanish Succession
- Lost. The War also gave the French their first taste of a Marlborough, which they have loved every since.

- American Revolution
- In a move that will become quite familiar to future Americans, France claims a win even though the English colonists saw far more action. This is later known as "de Gaulle Syndrome", and leads to the Second Rule of French Warfare; "France only wins when America does most of the fighting."

- French Revolution
- Won, primarily due the fact that the opponent was also French.

- The Napoleonic Wars
- Lost. Temporary victories (remember the First Rule!) due to leadership of a Corsican, who ended up being no match for a British footwear designer.

- The Franco-Prussian War
- Lost. Germany first plays the role of drunk Frat boy to France's ugly girl home alone on a Saturday night.

- World War I
- Tied and on the way to losing, France is saved by the United States [Entering the war late -ed.]. Thousands of French women find out what it's like to not only sleep with a winner, but one who doesn't call her "Fraulein." Sadly, widespread use of condoms by American forces forestalls any improvement in the French bloodline.

- World War II
- Lost. Conquered French liberated by the United States and Britain just as they finish learning the Horst Wessel Song.

- War in Indochina
- Lost. French forces plead sickness; take to bed with the Dien Bien Flu

- Algerian Rebellion
- Lost. Loss marks the first defeat of a western army by a Non-Turkic Muslim force since the Crusades, and produces the First Rule of Muslim Warfare; "We can always beat the French." This rule is identical to the First Rules of the Italians, Russians, Germans, English, Dutch, Spanish, Vietnamese and Esquimaux.

- War on Terrorism
- France, keeping in mind its recent history, surrenders to Germans and Muslims just to be safe. Attempts to surrender to Vietnamese ambassador fail after he takes refuge in a McDonald's.

Von Brunk Under Judgement

"hah! for the win."

date: December 10, 2006

this is von brunkery at it's finest. loved the song and now I'm compelled to get back into quest metal. I'm gunna watch this a few more times, 5 it, then go buy some dragonforce CDs.

this'll probably get me fulp'd (sweatty nerds oh noes) but this is typical YTMND badassery here. parodies, spinoffs, tributes, ect. ect. this is what the web was really made for.

in my opinion this beats the original with blatant authority.

Chrono Who #9 (part 2)

"what the shit!? I can't stop laughing!"

date: October 20, 2006

what the fuck was that!? oh my god I can't stop laughing! ah man that rocked... oh shit I stopped being all sophistimacated around my review of chrono who 8...

seriously though, the background had a "trippy misty fog" sorta feel to it, and the emidiate shift from handdrawn/internet jpegs to sprites was just fucking brilliant! 9 out of 10 doctors yelled "FANTASTIC" at it, the tenth went "most extraordinary".

you've got your touch back, guys. fatbadger, brickey, you guys rock. 5 to the both of you

Chrono Who #8

"I'm sorry"

submission: Chrono Who #8
date: October 20, 2006

it hurts right to the core to see an up and coming sprite series ruined by harsh criticism. lemme tell ya something feh-beh. there are two types to a newgrounder, trugrounders and outsiders. 'siders like you do stuff and expect that quality be appraised and hard work payed back. trugrounders stamp out originality and masterbate over secret nazi moon bases and stick figure sk8te moves.

I did enjoy this movie, since a huge amount of work DID go into the drawings ('cept for the poor dalek) and you did a good job using lines from my favorite episode from season 1, but it still hurts to see the series go downhill after 5, but this little glimmer of hope should remind you that it's not about the negative reveiws, it's all 'bout the positive reviewers.

5'd so that secret nazi sk9te video loving ass quaffers don't win. oh, also because I really liked this flash.

holy high and hardcore hell! that was right for all the right reasons!! I loved how you blasphemed against both doctor who and chrono trigger and it still beat most of the portal's best!

did you make those dalek sprites yourself? if not, where di you get them?

I always though Initial D made running in the Nineties... sweet flash nontheless! 5'd!

Sonic Epoch: Best of vol1

"another ginormous success."

date: October 20, 2006

haahhhh... hopefully you simly don't put any effort into these and you're capable of much better when using flash, either way I was laughing my shits off at these!

fat badger, go to the site www (dot) ytmnd (dot) com, since you will fit in there perfectly, all the animations I've seen in the sonic epoch series are simply ytmnds: imaged (animated or still shot), sound clip, and text.

I'm gunna watch the sonic epoch's again, then the chrono who stuff, since I like both doctor who and chrono trigger, and then maybe some other stuff, your movies are awesome in the same way jerry jackson's films are, only yours have a blue hedgehog and overused robot voices!

clock day > NEDM

"dark day for happycat"

submission: clock day > NEDM
date: September 26, 2006

as the site you stole this from would put it:

YOU LOSE! good DAY, sir!

seriously though why d'you have to go and mess with a good thing like YTMND and happycat and all that? why? you simply will end up making enemies this way and wind up down on your ass with no hope left like you were some kinda bauman. the I never bought into the whole "clock crew sucks just as bad as strawberry clock" stuff and I'll try not to, but this is just making it harder for me.

I'll 4/5 this for the sake of the reference and reminding me to check up on good ol' ytmnd dawt com, but seriously you can do better, despite affiliation to newgrounds you CAN do better! please try harder on your next flash submission, for me?

Author's Response:

well it was a "spur of the moment"thing, saturday afternoon, nothing to do decided to help celebrate clock day. you seem to be implying that i would steal stuff often no, not at all like i said, a spur of the moment 1 off thing i dont plan on making any (real) flashs (with better ideas of course) until i get better at animating (which i am)thanks for reviewing.

Madness Apotheosis

"madness triumphs yet again!"

submission: Madness Apotheosis
date: September 26, 2006

apotheosis is one of those all-round insane animations that will never go out of style no matter how many asshat blammers or downvoter shits assault it. I've been watching the whole series multiple times and using the Madness Wiki entry to try and get the whole storyline, great jobe on the series!

one question haunts me, though. at one part Tricky (the clown) gets a short scene where he is concerned for a wounded hank (protagonist). is this genuine emotion for our hero or is he simply fearing an assault from jesus after the protagonist's death?

I love the new zombie designs, and the awesome camera cuts and unique uses of scenery and creativity in this movie, the Protagonist gets more and more awesome after each rivival! as does jebus, but he becomes less dynamic and more passive each time, I love the pattern you're building up, and the music is my all-time favorite in apotheosis as well. what's the name of the song you used here; before the chicken dance and the "sad music"?

sweet movie, can't wait for 7!

Madness Depredation

"My favorite and least liked at the same time..."

date: September 26, 2006

well, madness wise this one kicks a heavy amount of ass, and shows awesome character development on your behalf, and the action is incredible, not as good as 4 (nothing really will be...) but still insanely awesome!

inversely, this version heralds in the clown at his absolute creepiest. I can't sleep because of the mood set by Tricky... he's a wild card because he makes me loathe the end of this movie yet come back to watch it again and again! congratulations Krinkels you're the first person in the world to mindfuck me entirely!

I love the madness series in general and would love to see more stuff about it, and hopefully with your permision I might make a tribute to the evolving storyline you've got going for this series.

wow, I'm almost as long-winded as people say I am. I better shut up now, before I become problematic like eric bauman or that guy who made stick slayer (probably the same guy).

love the movie, kickass terrifying end, thanks for elaborating on your joke! 5/5!
